Meet The Owner

I have been a florist for over 27 years, but don't think I'm out of touch with the new trends and flowers.  I love anything fun! I recently had the opportunity to be one of  the floral designer for the Grand Hotel Mackinac Island Michigan.  We did over 83 weddings this season and numerous "Grand" events.  It was an experience of a lifetime.

I started designing flowers in high school at Kent Skills Center and have stayed current as a designer in many floral shops and have participated in many floral shows.  I am also very proud to say that my apprentice Derek Woodruff is the Designer of the Year 2011 and is currently a competitor on the first television reality series about florists.  It is called The Arrangement and can be seen on LOGO TV.
